Australia vs. Turkey

Another shocking result was the Austria vs. Turkey match. A little bit of history tells us that these teams have met about 4 times before now, and Turkey has won 3 times and drawn once. So tell me why they lost 6-1 in a match they were supposed to win. 6-1! You might say Austria is not a small team either, but 6 goals is a lot for a team like Turkey’s.  Now for the biggest shocker??...

Uruguay vs. Ivory Coast

The mighty, 15-times Copa America title winners; Uruguay lost to Ivory Coast. Yes, you read that right. Uruguay is also a 4-time FIFA recognized world champion, and yet our own Ivory Coast clinched a 2-1 victory against them. “I guess we won't feel too bad for losing the finals to them now.” The Ivorian team has been quite impressive though; accolades to them for this very big upset. This is why we love football!
