Are you concerned that your cashiers and punters are visiting other sites and using up your data on various downloads on other sites? See below information on how you can download and use an application which helps you block sites and take control of how your data is being used in your shop.

Step 1: Visit this link here.

Step 2: On the page, click on download as shown below:

Step 3: Once download has been completed, check the bottom of the page and open file and install.

Step 4: Once you install and open the application, you will be requested to create a password, confirm password then also create a secret question and answer. It is very important that you create a password so that no one will have access to open the application and unblock sites which you have blocked. The secret question and answers (must be long sentences not a word). This is important so that in case you forget your password, the secret question and answer can be used to recover your password and gain access.

Step 5: Start to add sites (and sub domains if any) which you intend to block as shown below:

Once sites have been added and you have clicked on ’apply changes’, web browsers need to be restarted or cache cleared for changes to take effect. Once sites have been blocked, once such sites are entered in browser, they bring up an error message as shown below:

Sites can be removed or modified as shown below:

It is also important to note that once the application has been installed on one system and a list has been created, the list can then be exported and saved on a flash, then transferred to another system and imported to the new system to save time adding sites all over again using the export and import tabs shown below:

This process if implemented will help save a lot of data in your shops and also reduce your subscription expenses. To learn more about this process, watch this video
